Greeley - Houston Gardens
You can experience four of the five ecosystems in Colorado without leaving the City of Greeley. Houston Gardens, once a large hayfield owned by George Meredith Houston, has been transformed into a botanic garden and nature center with ADA accessible walking paths, tranquil ponds and helpful signage explaining the different life zones found in our state (the only one missing is the tundra zone found about tree line). Come out and enjoy nature without leaving the city. Great for all ages! Learn more about the Gardens on the West Greeley Conservation District webpage.
