Halloween is creeping closer, and Weld County's towns are gearing up for some fang-tastic events! If you're looking for trunk-or-treating or other family-friendly activities, you can find them in Weld County. Check out these exciting events happening in Nunn, Milliken, Keenesburg, Greeley, Kersey, Severance and Ault!

Nunn: Trunk-or-Treat

Date: Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024

Time: 4 to 7:30 p.m. 

Location: Nunn Town Park, 288 3rd St.

Nunn is bringing the fun with its annual Trunk-or-Treat at the Town Park. Bring the kids for a safe and entertaining Halloween experience with decorated cars, candy and spooky activities that will keep the whole family entertained.

Milliken: Trick-or-Treat Street

Date: Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024

Time: Noon to 2 p.m. 

Location: Downtown Milliken 

Join the Milliken Police Department and the Milliken Events Committee for Trick-or-Treat Street! Local businesses will be handing out candy, and kids can enjoy a free lunch in the parking lot east of Town Hall. Look for the pumpkins in business windows to know where to stop for treats.

Keenesburg: Trick-or-Treat Street

Date: Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024

Time: 4 to 6 p.m.

Location: Weld Central Middle School, 4977 county road 59 

Join the fun in Keenesburg with their trick-or-treat event. Bring the whole family, wear costumes and bring candy buckets to enjoy a fun time.

Greeley: Halloween events

Día de los Muertos Fine Art Exhibition

Date: Friday, Oct. 25, to Friday, Nov. 8, 2024

Location: Tointon Art Gallery, Greeley Rec Center, 651 10th Ave.

Celebrate the vibrant and colorful traditions of Día de los Muertos with this stunning art exhibition. Explore pieces from local artists who are inspired by the rich cultural history of this unique holiday. Join the artists’ reception on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. as part of the Día de los Muertos celebration.

A Haunted Night at the Family FunPlex

Date: Friday, Oct. 25, 2024

Time: 5 to 8 p.m. 

Location: Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Ave. 

Trick-or-treat through the fieldhouse and enjoy Halloween crafts, a witch’s tea party and a costume contest from 6 to 7 p.m. This event is perfect for families looking for a night of spooky fun.

Monster Mash Halloween Dance

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024

Time: 4 to 6 p.m.

Location: Greeley Active Adult Center, 1010 6th St.

Don’t miss this spooktacular dance for adults! With a costume contest, themed music and delicious finger foods, it’s a great chance to get into the Halloween spirit. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

Kersey: Halloween events 

Kersey Carve: A Halloween Pumpkin Fest 

Date: Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024

Time: 2 to 5 p.m.

Location: Kersey Community Center, 215 2nd St.

Kersey Carve brings a spooky twist to autumn as the community gathers for a Halloween Pumpkin Fest. Engage in pumpkin carving contests, costume competitions and haunted house adventures. It's a bewitching experience that adds a touch of frightful fun to the fall season.

The Kersey Community Center Haunted House

Date: Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024

Times: Family-friendly haunted house from 4 to 6 p.m.; scarier version for older kids and adults from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Location: Kersey Community Center, 215 2nd St.

Step into the shadows and prepare for a spine-tingling journey through the Kersey Community Center Haunted House. Embrace the spirit of Halloween with two distinct experiences tailored for different age groups. From 4 to 6 p.m., the haunted house welcomes younger trick-or-treaters for a family-friendly adventure filled with mild scares and spooky delights. As darkness descends upon the town, the Community Center undergoes a sinister transformation and the haunted house will become a realm of terror suited for older kids and brave adults.

Severance: Trick-or-Treat Parade

Date: Friday, Oct. 25, 2024

Time: 3 to 5 p.m.

Location: Severance Town Hall, 3 South Timber Ridge Pkwy.

Trick-or-treat around Severance Town Hall and enjoy the haunted Town Hall experience. Don’t forget to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Weld Food Bank and support their annual turkey food drive!

Ault: 2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat 

Date: Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024

Time: 1 to 3 p.m. 

Location: Ault Town Hall and Police Department, 271 E 1st St. 

Hosted by the Ault Police Department, Ault’s Trunk-or-Treat is back for the second year! Head to Town Hall for a family-friendly day of costumes, candy and fun.
