Dacono

Citywide Clean-Out Day The annual  bulk waste clean-out event takes place at the Front Range Landfill in Erie. This one day event allows residents to dispose of large household items that are not typically accepted through regular trash service. Voucher required.

Farmers Market The Market is a great place for families and to meet friends. There is often live entertainment by local musicians. Colorado State University Master Gardeners provide gardening information and problem-solving. Other community groups host informational booths. Guest chef appearances will be held during the season about once a month. Come learn a new way to prepare market produce and meats. We also provide many recipes for your convenience.

Centennial Celebration at Centennial Village

Step back in time to Colorado’s Centennial Decade, 1866-1876. Learn about each of the homes, their original locations and when they were moved to Centennial Village. Native American tipis, buffalo soldiers, blacksmithing, timber cutting, and home tours will be part of the festivities. The museum is open Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 12 to 5 p.m. Admission is $8 adults, $6 Seniors (65+), and $5 children (3-17). Family Rate: $18 (max. of 5 people).
