3rd Annual Greeley Beer & Spirits Festival

The third annual Beer and Spirits Festival invites dozens of breweries and distilleries to share regional craft beers and spirits for a four-hour unlimited tasting event. Hosted at The Garage Creative Co-op – this fun, funky artists studio is a one-of-a-kind location for a beer festival. Several fine food trucks will be on location offering snacks or full meals, and GPO musicians are on hand to provide live musical entertainment. Tickets start at $25, or spring for a VIP pass for one-hour early access, a free pint glass, and a free entry in our Prize Giveaway!

Spring Clean Up: Residents of Evans who pay for their trash service through their water bill. These residents will receive two (2) free vouchers in their March water bill to use for cleanup. Each voucher can be used for 1 (one) pick up load. Large truck or trailer loads will require 2 (two) vouchers. Additional vouchers may be purchased at: The Evans Community Complex 1100 37th Street 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday for $5 per voucher

The 47th Annual UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival

The largest event of its kind in the nation, the UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival brings together internationally recognized artists, jazz lovers, award-winning clinicians, and over 250 college, high school, and middle school big bands, combos, and jazz vocal. Headliners perform each evening and after-hours jam sessions take place in multiple venues around the community.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary: Wild Earth Day

Join us for an event that is designed to not only help "Mother Earth", but also the animals and humans that inhabit this wonderful planet! A general celebration with arts, crafts, vendors, and special food will add lots of fun to the mix, so plan to celebrate your "Wild Earth Day" with us and more than 450 of the wildest friends you could ever have! Visitors are invited to bring potted trees, shrubs, or plants to donate to the animals. Sanctuary staff will utilize whatever you donate to embellish one or more of the 60+ habitats that we currently have. The donations of natural plants aren't mandatory, but are greatly appreciated. Each person who brings a tree / plant will be granted free admission to the Sanctuary walkway.

Arbor Day 5K Run/Walk

The Town of Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture Department and the Windsor Tree Board will hold the 12th Annual Arbor Day 5K Run/Walk at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at Boardwalk Park. Early bird registration is now open and will run through noon April 14 for $15. Race fees include a T-shirt; proceeds go toward planting trees in Windsor.

The Town of Firestone hosts an Annual Clean Up Day and Food Drive each spring to allow Firestone residents to bring all unwanted household debris to be disposed of through a community-wide effort. In addition to the cleanup, the Town of Firestone also welcomes residents to donate non-perishable food items as part of a food drive to benefit local food banks.

Frederick

Clean Up Days

The Town of Frederick offers both a Spring and Fall Community Clean Up Day where residents can bring disposable items to the Town of Frederick Public Works facility, located at 7301 Eagle Blvd. Complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers will be grilled and served by members of the Board. In addition to giving out free food, the Board will be collecting canned food items for the Carbon Valley Help Center! The items the need most are: beans, mac&cheese, canned fruit/veggies, canned meat, canned soup, peanut butter, pasta and rice. Please check the expiration dates prior to donating so you don't accidentally donate expired items!

The Town encourages its residents to participate in this effort to keep Frederick beautiful! This event is for Town of Frederick residents only, so please be sure to bring your utility bill or proof of Frederick residency to participate.
