Fort Lupton


Donelson HouseThe Donelson House at Historic Fort Lupton

Built after the South Platte River flood of 1864, the house has been restored to an 1893 photograph. All furnishing for the Donelson House were donations which were subsequently restored by members of the South Platte Valley Historical Society. The Donelson House also periodically hosts afternoon teas.
